Stumptown's coffee can be a little pricey, but we think Holler Mountain is worth the price. Bags are usually 12 ounces, but 5-pound bags can be ordered too. It's widely sold in grocery stores, as well as online, and is available both whole bean or pre-ground. ![]() This medium roast balances smooth notes of chocolate and caramel with a hint of citrus and berry jam to stand out. Holler Mountain also suits a variety of brewing methods, including espresso and pour over. It's easy to drink as your daily batch of drip coffee without tiring of it. The brand has many blends deserving of our best overall spot, but we chose Holler Mountain because it has a strong flavor with wide-ranging appeal. But Stumptown has been an all-around favorite at the top of the coffee game for decades. Sometimes it depends on the brewing method or the bang for the buck. Some people prefer dark roasts, others prefer light. ![]() It’s impossible to truly choose the best coffee.
